One single site history is boring, let's have a chronology for all of them!

January 2007 - My DeviantArt account opens. It's my first foray into the world of online artings, I decided to join after having lurked for a little while admiring the works of Kuitsuku (was already following her from Suta Raito) and JSZ-Jazz (who I knew from the Guilty Gene webcomic posted on J2O). DA and other art galleries were a revolution for me at the time, they provided a free and easy hosting place to put art on without requiring skills and resources needed to have one's own domain, which I lacked at the time.

October 28th, 2008 - Several of my watchers invite me to join FurAffinity as my main art subject were cartoony animals. I didn't join to particularly follow someone, but instead I managed to rack up quite a following of my own that allowed me to officially open commissions. While there I also meet several italian cartoon and comic artists which invite me to join the FurryMania forum, of which I became an active user until its closure roughly 7 years later. It organized many art collaboration projects, live meetups and it's where I met my husband MLock!

December 2009 - I sign up on Twitter to try it out and I get my first distaste for social media. XD I leave it abandoned shortly after (managed to stay there for a mere few months) but I don't delete it, incase it'll come in handy later.
In fact, in late 2019 I gave it a second chance because many other artists I knew started using it as a gallery instead of FA. A bit begrudgingly I started posting art too, until I realized the toxic general attitude, unfaborable algorythm and, after just a couple of years, the disastrous new management made Twitter the worst place to post art. It gave me sickness, so I gradually faded my activity there until I no longer posted updates. At this point I mainly use it to keep track of fanzine contributor applications.

November 12th, 2012 - My Tumblrlog opens! I had been dicking around Tumblr for a year prior but that day I finally decided the purpose for my stay there: opening a gaming diary. Originally called Speedway To Tubelectric, I later changed name to BlastoiseMonster as I often used Pokèmon Blue/Blastoise graphics to decorate it. Tumblr was the first virtual place I opened not to showcase my own art but to disclose more about my other interests. Thanks to that I found out how much I loved blogging online (prior to this I only kept paper diaries since childhood, but all writings were of course for myself).

December 14th, 2013 - I try out Weasyl! The gallery place opens up as an alternative to FA (although they never fully admitted so) but soon ended up becoming a ghost town, since FA still has plenty of traction and activity. Feedback was nonexistent on that place and I felt it was useless to have yet another gallery where I'd potentially post the same exact things already available on much more known DA and FA. Ultimately I decided to use it as a repository of commissioned ref sheets, a place where I could easily find characters I had drawn for customers incase I had to draw them again (hey, that's what ref sheets are for).

January 15th, 2015 - I open a Telegram! Prior to this I had been using MSN (sniff! Sleep well sweet prince!) and Skype (you will not be missed) thoroughly since their conception and I always loved the scene of instant direct messaging; I came from an era where private messaging would only be performed via e-mail, so these were a revolution back when they opened. Telegram also introduced me to the addicting stickers, which I ended up drawing thousands for my online customers. I now run special giveaways whenever I read a new K milestone (I'm about to reach 4K drawn stickers)! The place and its groups feature helped me keep in touch with my best friends from the FurryMania era: the Fauna 2.0 club is still a lively place and great source for art inspirations, injokes and memes.

December 14th, 2017 - I open a Discord account! This was mainly to chat with my brother while I was out of town and to have an alternative private messaging place for newer customers, because to this day I still haven't fully joined a "server" nor I thoroughly understand how they are supposed to be used. I do not know all of Discord's functionalities nor I feel like their claims to both substitute and bring back forum culture with their newest features are fully thought out; to me, there's a lot of improvements left to do before Discord becomes the new ForumsFree, but there's a glint of potential. For the time being, it would be best to call it a successor of IRC chats :P
Still happy I opened an account anyway, since it's vital for modern fanzine production and I ended up taking part in a lot of them.

April 26th, 2021 - I purchase the ValyceNegative domain! Something akin to a personal birthday gift (my birthday is April 29th) partly pushed by the unbearable situation with DA permanently turning into Eclipse. Now that I had both resources and HTML skills to build and manage a site of my own, I decided to move my whole personal gallery over there along with info regarding my own characters (bios, refs), their canon universe, my commission info, my comic projects, my shop... in short, everything that I'd have always loved to add in a personal portfolio site! My brother helped with backend/php magic.
The 2.0 version implemented on May 28, 2022 adds a new more functional layout, full compatibility with all browsers and devices either desktop or mobile, ability to easily swap with seasonal skins, and a much more orderly and lightweight code.

August 5th, 2021 - Logged out of my DeviantArt account for the last time, ending my activity on that site. Also purged my gallery as it was all available on VN. At its place, one last deviation explaining where I had moved and why; it'll stay there until DA goes offline forever.

May 21, 2022 - I opened a Neocities account! Its philosophy of bringing back webspace available for everyone to easily create on clicks with me, but I realize none of their offers (neither free nor paid) would have even been enough to host my entire site. I originally open it just to be a spalshpage to VN, some sort of portal to make my domain a bit more linked during its initial launch. I soon realize the space can have a bit more potential.

November 18th 2022 - In fear (or hope?) that Twitter dies out completely, I opened a Telegram channel that mirrors everything that I post on Twitter. Since now BlueSky has completely substituded Twitter, this Telegram feed simply mirrors what I post on BlueSky.

March 14th, 2024 - My Neocities site gets updated to 2.0 becoming the corner you see today! From splashpage to funzone, hosting everything that doesn't fit my VN domain or Tumblr blog.
